How much does a boiler service cost in Lincoln?
Our annual boiler service is £90 + VAT. That covers a full strip-down, heat exchanger clean, flue check, electronic combustion analysis, safety controls inspection and a completed service checklist. We serve Lincoln, Nettleham, Welton and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages.
How long does a boiler service take?
Around an hour. If we find something that needs attention, we'll tell you what it is and what it means before we do anything about it.
What does a boiler service actually involve?
A thorough boiler service involves stripping the boiler down, cleaning the heat exchanger, checking the flue for integrity and clearance, testing combustion levels with an electronic flue gas analyser, inspecting the burner, seals and electrical connections, and checking every safety control. You receive a completed checklist at the end. Not all services are the same — if you're not sure what yours involved, it's worth asking.
How often should I get my boiler serviced?
Annually. It keeps your boiler running safely and efficiently, maintains your manufacturer warranty and means small problems get caught before they become expensive ones.
Do you service gas fires, cookers and hobs?
Yes. We service gas fires, gas cookers and hobs as well as boilers.
Do you offer boiler service plans in Lincoln?
No. We looked at them carefully and decided they're not right for the way we work. The small print in most service plans creates more arguments than they solve. We'd rather charge a fair price, do a good job and deal with any issues straightforwardly. No monthly direct debit required.
